Non-lieu I

In this series entitled “Epilogue”, Astrid Staes gives us the last echo before the silence. “Epilogue” presents a still life, a suspended life. The photographs are ash weddings, the objects are relics – a jackhammer, a cup, an empty chair. Someone deserted. This series supposes the culmination, the moment when silence arises after a long story. There remains a little fog which will dissipate before a new prologue.
