Internationally particularly active for the promotion of its artists, Loft gallery has since the years 2000 undertaking an important work of promotion of some of the 20th century great sculptors. The gallery participates to the “Champs de la sculpture” on the Champs-Elysées in Paris with works by Sui Jianguo and published the Catalogue Raisonné of Philippe Hiquily and Francesco Marino di Teana. Progressively the gallery becomes one of the French leaders in the production of monumental sculptures participating in high-end projects such as those that span from the Sculpture Parc of the Al Maaden golf in Marocco (with works by Antonio Segui, Yazid Oulab, Wang Keping, Sunil Gawde, Daniel Hourdé and Claude Gilli), the Universal Exhibition of Shanghai (with the permanent installation, in a Shanghai Square of three 12 meter water vanes by Philippe Hiquily), the presentation of monumental sculptures by Philippe Hiquily in the Parisian squares of Saint Germain-des-Près (Marathonienne and Epicurienne of 5 meters high) and Saint-Sulpice (six weather vanes of 3,5 meters high), but also the exhibition of monumental sculptures by Francesco Marino di Teana (amongst others University of 3 meters high) on the Citadel of Sisteron.
Whilst exploring ways to make large scale sculptures with the work of young artists such as Quentin Garel or Yazid Oulab, Loft gallery tries as much as possible to show theses works to the public in it’s courtyard (3bis, rue des Beaux-Arts) as well as contemporary art fairs such as Art Paris Art Fair and more recently landscaping a sculpture park surrounded by the greenery of woods where it will be possible to admire them. In this complex and particular domain, the gallery has always committed itself to lending works to art institutions and private collectors furnishing them its expertise and counsel in all the steps of the acquisition of one of these monumental works and installation on site.
