“A true pillar of the School of Nice, Claude Gilli left us in the summer of 2015, leaving behind a lot of works full of experiences: Ex-votos, flows, carvings, work with snails then three-dimensional sculptures. In polychrome wood, molded resin or painted steel, this adventure in the world of materials has allowed him to leave us a colorful work, full of humor, and inspired by his native Côte d'Azur.
Since 2000, he had chosen to return to his favorite work, cut wood, to relive his pleasure in coloring feelings and memories.
During this period, he produced this series of works in tribute to Love, for life, has its pleasure to surprise us."
